Arabella

Designed for family cruising, the PDQ 36 is one of the most popular cruising catamarans of its type. The PDQs have a characteristic three-tier look.  A low, wide coach roof spans almost the full beam of the boat, giving good headroom in each hull.  A higher central coach room gives headroom in the entrance to the bridgedeck cabin and passage to the two hulls.  The boat has earned a considerable reputation as a comfortable and reliable, yet adventurous, family cruiser.  The PDQ 36 is especially noted for excellence in construction and design concept execution.

The PDQ 36 Capella Classic and the PDQ 36 Capella LRC (Long Range Cruiser) are developments of the PDQ 36 MkIII and MkII Classic and LRC models.  These in turn are based on the earlier PDQ 36 and the original PDQ 34. The 36 Capella LRC is very similar to the Classic, but with twin inboard diesels instead of outboards, skeg-mounted rudders, increased tankage and additional strength and safety features.  Arabella features two staterooms with queen-size berths, a full-size berth, and comes with a full complement of equipment including an inflatable hard bottom dinghy with outboard.

Arabella is one the newest of only twenty LRC's ever made bye PDQ.  She is equipped with all required US Coast Guard safety equipment.
